There are perhaps no two composers more capable of encapsulating a true revolutionary spirit and a sharp political tone than the likes of Beethoven and Shostakovich.
Join us in an intimate evening at Pandora Studio. We will be hosting a concert for a small audience, only 20 people, with Trio Jakob.
All the pieces will be introduced by the musicians and after the concert there will be some drinks so that you can talk to them and share your perspective.
The duration of the concert will be 60' minutes approximately.
Tickets: €15 to be paid at the door by card.

About the trio...
The recipient of various international prizes, Trio Jakob is an ensemble with the goal of exploring repertoire for piano trio through the creation of a unique soundscape and the convening of three distinct personalities.
Currently residing in the Netherlands and hailing from both Portugal and Spain, the trio is constituted by violinist Manuel De Almeida- Ferrer, cellist Carla Peña Romero and pianist Imanol Casán. Since its inception in 2014, they have performed in concert seasons and international music festivals – among which the Fundación Juan March in Madrid, Fringe Festival in Torroella de Montgrí, the Prisma Poliedric Festival (Italy) and in the Stadsgehoorzaal in Leiden (the Netherlands) — the trio has recently won various chamber music competitions including the XVI CIM Les Corts in Barcelona, the II Concurso Cambra Románica in Andorra and La Follia Nuova International Competition in Italy. They are the recipients of the Prix Champagne Mailliard from the European Chamber Music Competition from FNAPEC, the third prize in the Antonio García Abril International Chamber Music Competition, as well as the second prize of the 2021 chamber music competition from Juventudes Musicales España.
Trio Jakob is currently in training at NSKA -Netherlands String Quartet Academy- receiving lessons by its artistic leader Marc Danel and guest teachers such as Luc-Marie Aguera, Simone Gramaglia and Alexander Pavlovsky. They are also part of the ProQuartet academy, and have taken part in the annual encounters of Jeunesses Musicales’s International Chamber Music Campus in Weikersheim, supported by a full scholarship of JMI-Deutschland.
The trio is currently part of the Le Dimore del Quartetto network, providing concerts and residencies in European historical patrimony as well as being kindly supported by the Stichting Young Notables.
